My local chapter SCCA Autox chairman ran his 135i with 255 RSR's on his stock rims and said they were great with only 20miles on them.

Tires fit . . . game on. Tires squeeze down quite a bit when mounted . . . the Federals are maybe a millimeter or two bigger than the Kumhos once wrapped around those skinny ass rims.
It rained pretty much the whole day this past sunday so i asked how it handled in the wet

Actually pretty good, but not sure if the car felt like it was handling better just because of less rear grip. Really need to pull that sway bar. Tires are plenty grippy: it was doing that thing that slicks do where the car sucks into the inside of the turn on constant radius stuff. Good feeling. Note this is in cold soaking wet with 20 miles on the tires.
More reasons for me to purchase as my next set of tires
