Yea...whenever a car puts in a new engine, I would never grab it right away until the bugs are worked out. You'd think that Subaru would do this first, as any manufacturer should...but they never do. It's like they use the public as the beta test.
For what it's worth....I already think the resale value on the 2012-2013 is lower compared to the trust-worthy Subies. Right now...as it stands, I'd rather get a used WRX than a brand new 2.0i. It's not going to happen, but hypothetically...that's what I'd rather buy.
1 quart every 1200 miles is a joke. Any claim of this is ridiculous. I don't care if it has been used before...it's ridiculous.
