So me and Margo were interested in getting some vinyl done for her forester, for PUMA's support of the 48 Hours of Tristate annual charity drive. Originally we were going to get the same graphics package done as the suabru PUMA GRC cars, but that fell through at the last minute. (pretty much literally) so now i had three days to get vinyl on the car for the event.
After looking for some shops that were local to us, I came across Ardon Vinyl's website. http://ardonvinyl.com/
It looked great, and after seeing some of their work and what they were capable of, I decided on a prayer to go down, and see if they could help.
I walked in, and met with Ric, who is the GM of the shop. he heard me out, and set aside some time to draw some stuff up for me.
With a rough template, done up, we made sure positioning was good:
Next he printed up the logos on car wrap:
He had some other projects to do, and well, I didn't want to mess up his work, so we decided it was best for him to install it...and not to let me screw everything up trying it myself. i dropped off the car Tuesday morning at 9, and it was done and cleaned 2 hours later!
this is how it turned out:
Me and Margo are super pleased how it turned out. the cuts and attention to detail were above and beyond what we expected considering i dropped this project on him at the last minute. it was a big hit at the event, and the guys at Vermont Sports Car loved it too.
in short, if you need any automotive vinyl, scotchguard for your paint, or well, anything in a large format for buisness signs or car wraps please check them out, they're awesome, and prices are more than fair!
