Why would you want a mech/electrical sensor of any kind? You have a 100% accuracy with a mechanical sensor........why would you want to send direct pressure from a foolproof oil supply line to a electronic sensor that manipulates the pressure reading into a digital readout? I mean if your connection is faulty at the mech gauge inside the cabin...i see where that would be a prob( oil leaking into cabin possibly). Thats like sayin " im not comfortable with fuel lines running under my backseat because of a potential leak". If its connected correctly....its not gonna leak. What i see is accuracy issues with the interpretaion of the anolog to digital signal. Just not as reliable as a TRUE mechanical connection. Nothing is more accurate than that.
