Yeah, that's what this guy had.
If A/S tires could pass the severe snow (mountain/snowflake) performance test, they would. They can't. We tried one of the highest rated A/S for snow - Michelin Pilot Sport - and they sucked - my wife would not drive the car.
There is one
"All Season" with the SS rating - the Nokian WRG2. They're relatively expensive, noisy when worn - and once you get them, you won't drive anything else unless you go to winter and summer tires.
