If he's referring to torque steer, then he's thinking of a different car. That's one of the big advantages of Subaru's symmetrical AWD--no torque steer.
Even when I'm driving through deep puddles that would cause the steering wheel in my Civic to tug sideways, I find that the Impreza just cuts straight through it without pulling to the side.
Yep! I'd really like to know what he was thinking though.....
