I have the Cobb BPV and the cobb EBCS. I get the same noise. Went out to Cobb twice to have the techs listen and ride along because I was scared. Its just the EBCS working properly. Another valve might dampen some of the noise but I am just trying to get used to it (I honestly hate the sputtering noise).
