What worries me is that the owner says it has hesitation under heavy load. After looking around here and other forums it seems to be a common problem with the turboed engines
with many causes. What I'm wondering is, the car has 186k on it and from the looks of it is in good shape (would probably be considered fair value on kbb) so for $5.5k is it worth picking up as a first Subaru or will I be spending more on parts and fixes that come with the high mileage than I would in general buying a well priced lower mileage car?
If it were me, I'd pay up a bit more for a better maintained/lower mileage car. That price doesn't sound too terrible to me, though.
