Lyndon/Wheelock, VT, specific address given at later date.
10:30 start, arrive at 10:00.
This is going to be a highly informal rallycross. I have a larger size field that will have a good size track set up with cones. Plan on a day full of hoonage. This is going to be run what you brung type of thing, I'll be running a Ford Escape and Pro-4x Frontier. Come and watch the hoonage!
There WILL be food, but I am not paying for everyone's lunch so chip in a bit. Its going to be BBQ style regardless if its catered or not. If its catered I believe its $8 a person chips, soda and two of either hot dog or burger but we need 50+ people. If not less people I will be planning the same thing to do on my own. I'll need to know a head of time by two weeks a rough estimate. I'll have a number of cases of water so don't worry to much about bringing water or anything.
Trash? If you can throw it on the ground, you can throw it in the trash. I'll have cans set up.
Bathrooms? Make sure your do-do-duty is done before you come, otherwise the Green Mountain State offers plenty of natural restrooms. Worse comes to worse we're a few minutes out of town.
If you break something, no worries. I have tools, jacks etc, hopefully someone will bring some also. I have donut 5x100 Subaru spares if you get a flat or what not. I do not have 5x114.3. Parts store closes at 4! Bonds Auto has pretty much every common part in stock. I'll have a chain to pull whoever gets stuck out.
We WILL be in the "boonies" but there will be cell phone service for Verizon and AT&T. If you see "Moose Crossing" signs, take them serious.
You will be signing a waver stating that I do not take any responsibility if you get hurt, run over or you total your car. You'll also sign a waver if you cause excessive wear to the field you are held liable. I'll let a lot slide, but if I need to get an excavator in there to smooth it out we will have issues. Everyone who comes will sign one not just drivers. I am in no way responsible for your actions. There will not be paramedics on site, but they are stationed 3 miles away.
There will be NO alcohol, I work for the Department of Liquor Control so keep that in mind when packing a cooler. No glass bottles either, I'm set with getting a flat.
As long as the car is in "Inspectable" shape as it stops, turns, and such safely I am fine with it, it cannot leak like a faucet, but small oil leaks are fine as we are talking about Subarus.
Reason I do not have an address yet I can not predict field conditions a month in advance. All the fields are within a few miles of each other anyways. Rain or shine it goes on, I am praying for snow.
