For my '97 GT I went with the Cobb Stage 1 suspension package -- all Cusco equipment. I can verify that Cobb is correct in that the biggest problem with our GT's handling is the rear swaybar, followed by overall flex cured by front and rear strut tower braces. Each of the 3 pieces I added one at a time with sufficient time between to verify the results.
To date I haven't touched the front swaybar and currently see no reason to. This may change though as I actively persue autocross as a new hobby. My first time will be the 28th/29th of this month. However I suspect that even better results will be obtained by better tires than doing anything to the front swaybar!
