To maintain your warranty you must be able to provide proof (receipts) that you followed the recommended oil change intervals specified in the owners manual.

If those receipts show any grade of oil other than 0W-20, that can be used, as could failure to provide evidence of the oil changes, to deny warranty work.

You might want to reconsider playing around with different weight oils until after your warranty expires.
