Talking 6/25 Maryland RS meet - time/directions

To all coming to the Impreza RS meet June 25th:

In consideration of the people that will be at the autox in Frederick and plan on driving up after their runs I think it would be best to push back the start of the BBQ a little to 1 pm.

FROM THE EAST & FROM BALTIMORE - Take 695 to 795 North. Follow 795 to the end (about 7 miles) and take RT 140 WEST (towards westminster). Take 140 West for about 11-12 miles and exit onto Rt 27. The exit is immediately past the Cranberry Mall. Take a left at the end of the ramp onto 27 SOUTH. Continue through westminster and follow 27 South for about 7 miles and make a RIGHT onto Rt 407 WEST (Marston Rd). Go 2.5 miles and make a right onto Bianca Drive. Bianca Drive in just over the hill after Bowersox Road so go slow. Take the driveway on the right.

FROM THE SOUTH - Take Rt 70 to Rt 97 NORTH (towards Westminster). Take 97 North for about 15 minutes to Rt 26 WEST (towards Taylorsville - make a left at end of ramp). Take 26 West to Rt 27 NORTH (right at light, theres a 7 eleven right after you turn). Take 27 N to Rt 407 WEST (Marston Rd - theres a Little Georges Deli on the right before the turn). Go 2.5 miles and turn right onto Bianca Drive, driveway on right. Bianca Dr is right after Bowersox just over the hill, so slow down.

FROM THE WEST - Take Rt 26 EAST and turn Left onto Rt 27 NORTH, then follow the same directions as from the south.

2445 Bianca Drive, New Windsor, MD. Bianca Drive is a private drive and is new so it is most likely not on any map you have. However, it is right between Bowersox and Wilt Rd right off of Rt 407.

I was asked about alcohol, so here's my opinion: I believe (hope) that we are all adults and hence are intelligent and responsible people so if you or your friend(s) would like to have a beer or two then its BYOB (I just might have one myself since I don't have to drive anywhere). This is a social event just like any other you might go to in the summer so you should have a designated driver and know your limits. I'm not going to baby-sit anyone and will not tolerate excessive drinking. How do you know if you drank too much? Well if you wake up naked in the middle of a cow pasture with two guys in dirty cover-alls standing over you holding shotguns and discussing whether they should keep you as livestock, feed you to the hogs, or make you marry their sister, …..then you definitely drank too much (being from NY I'm certainly no red-neck but my neighbors are). I want everyone to have fun……just do it responsibly. BTW if does happen to you don't worry I'll give your Subie a loving home.

Good Luck to the auto-xer's! See you Sunday!
