Subaru model: 2002 WRX

Mods: Power - MBC, Control - Hawk pads, Powerslot rotors, Looks - small dent in front fender from falling tree branch

tire size: 205/55 - 16

tire model: Dunlop Graspic DS-1

total cost: ~ $425 ($75x4 for the tires plus shipping, $25x4 to mount and balance)

personal comments: Love 'em. I have them mounted on dedicated wheels (the stock ones), and they got me through the heaviest CT winter in years last year without any problems whatsoever. My rationale in buying them is that even the cheapest snow tires would rock when paired with AWD, and I was right.

Given their speed rating and warm(er) weather wear and handling characteristics (very 'squishy'), I'd only recommend using them on dedicated wheels...just in case you need to remove them during a warm spell in the middle of January.
