I don't think even a pop start would have got it running - the factory alarm IIRC has an engine kill switch. I think even if you get it going, the electrics won't let the car run.
In any case........I got it running. I had actually broke the valet switch (and maybe something else) right at the connection. So basically what I had to do was to cut and twist together the two wires leading to that switch.
BUT, I have no alarm or keyless entry right now - I'll have to check the alarm manual to see if I can troubleshoot this. Pretty messed up. Looks like I'll bit hitting the dealer soon.
