its worthwhile for a few reasons:
1. more power, flash a new stock map first, then the stage 1 map...people typically are comparing a "fully learned" stock to a fresh stage 1. Power is noticable for sure if you do this.

2. if you get a new cat free or high flow down pipe you can flash to stage 2 for free...this is where it is at

3. you get sick of it or want to go to custom tunes or feel it isn't worth it...unmarry it and you get most of your $$ back for resale. one of the best $$ resales of anything i know of.

In short if you are new to this stuff and want to try it out there isn't a better option.
