IIRC, it's not a simple task, not like repacking rear wheel bearings on a FWD car. You need some larger tools (arbor press) and stuff. I don't know for sure though, as I've never done it, but I'll try to check my shop manuals (the manuals are for a 00, but it should be the same or close). Which side wheel was it in the rear?

You might not want to wait too long if it is indeed the bearing as it can seize completely and then ruin the hub as the outer race will spin with the shaft inside the hub (it's what's refered to as a "spun" bearing).
