Actually these pulleys don't drive anything that is critical to the internals of your motor. If one of these was to fail it would be no different then a drive belt failure. Now if they were timing gears, then yeah I would say think very carefully before installing. But just pulleys for some accesories? Not that big of a deal as long as you don't mind taking the chance of being stranded.
