Thumbs up Would anyone like to be in a movie? With their car? Read on.......

Here is a chance for some very lucky individuals to get their face, and Subaru, on film for the rest of eternity.

Universal Pictures is in post production for a movie called "Redline." This movie is based on the street racing culture of southern California and will include imports. I met a representative of Universal Pictures at an import car show last month. His name is Dale Benson. He is looking for car clubs that would be willing to show up at the old Nortan Air Force base in San Bernardino on Sept. 17 and 22. Each car club that participates will recieve payment for its efforts. I have reproduced the flyer for anyone that is interested. Please see below......

"organization Info.

We are looking for people to attend our filming on dates; Sept. 17 and Sept. 22, at the old Nortan Air Force Base, San Bernardino.

General Public:
Sept. 17, attendance starts at 9:00 AM
Sept. 22, attendance starts at 11:00 AM

Each organization will have a different schedule time frame for attendance which will be staggered, so there is a constant flow of people committed. Our offices will designate your scheduled times.

For your assistance in creating our "audience", Universal Pictures will donate to your organization, $4.00 per volunteer in attendance on either of the days filming.

Besides being enthusiastic, your responsibilities will include:

-contacting your members for committment of attendance. (We have included a posting bulletin for your convenience.)
-selecting a group leader for every 25 volunteers. She/he will:
*act as a spokesperson for your organization and will work closely with our production staff.
*stay with their 25 volunteers in positioning for the camera.
*verify names on your attendance sheet so we all will have an accurate count for check issue after filming. A master sheet for photocopying in included.

Lite lunch and refreshments will be provided, along with prize drawings throughout the day or night. Dress is casual for each day of filming. The film audience is from 18-25 years of age.

Welcome to the motion picture "Redline". If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact Dale Benson at (818)733-2720.

Please, no one under 18 years of age."

Well, that's it. I can't be in the filming because I am 39 years old. But I am willing to let someone drive my supercharged/intercooled RS for the shooting. Let me know if any of you on the list are interested. Thanks. ARG
