No. Try to keep up. The TR placed well because the reviewers at SCC were completely ignoring the raw data. If the times had mattered at all, the WRX would have been near the back of the pack and the Cobalt would have been in the top 2 or 3. The TR is a nice car, it's an easily modified car, and after mods it's an insanely quick car.. that's what matters to SCC's readers and that's who they wrote the article to. If Subaru had put RE070s on the WRX, the review would have just said, "So it corners as well as the Mazdaspeed, it stops as well as the Mazdaspeed and it slaloms as well as the Mazdaspeed, but it's in 2nd place because it's not the new hotness. Mazdaspeed Wins!"
