On a new 04 usdm sti pan and pickup there was about .187 clearance before we cut the lower shield off of the pickup. With a 12mm pump I am happy with a clearance of .437 or 7/16. This will require either changing the pickup or the pan. I always build our own pans so I have been reinforcing the pickups, cutting the shield off (cutting the shield off gives some added clearance) and making the pan to the desired depth to accomodate the pickup and the extra clearance.
It seems to me if you can't or won't build your own then moroso might be a good choice.
Maybe you could produce these pickups, there's definitely a market for them. I just can't swing the cost right now for the new pan, my build is already costing enough. Maybe I can hit up my fabricator to just modify a stock one.
