I've had the same wheel studs since day one, all I do is take a wire brush to the threads every time I rotate or swap wheels. I always start the nuts by hand, then use a torque wrench to tighten them. Not sure how you are going through studs so often, unless you are cross threading the nuts on with an impact gun.
Yep, I released the parking brake. Luckily, I'm not that dense. I'll try the wire brush. I always start the nuts by hand, too. And I'm careful with placing the wheels without flattening the stud threads.
