Hey its your money, do what you like.
But let me point out that as stated above, the WRX and STI dyno about the same in stock form. Also, the gearing is different on the two cars so they feel a bit different.
Second, you drove a modded WRX. Even at stage 1, the power increase is quite noticable. At stage 2, the difference is a lot .. and you have no idea even how far the WRX was modded.
My advice from earlier stands. But if you proceed to spend 35Kish on a car you drove once, then complained about, do not come in here crying about the lack of power after you get it.
