You absolutely need to filter the line pre sensor. My buddy had same issue. Added a filter and signal smoothed out. The lgt has a filter from factory as it's sensor is external. The sti has a jammed airway to sensor so it's filtered inside the throttle body channel itself. So grab a lgt map sensor filter from dealership or someplace.

Also wanted to add a hard line would be a good idea along with filter as the sensor is a dead end. And it can swell a silicone hose that's really only meant for vacuum under boost. The map sensor has no bleed off hole. Suppose one would help. Can run it in loop so it's not a vacuum leak also.. like tial should do with there bov and waste gate cough cough. The only boost leak I haven't been able to fix just yet! Lol.
