19 STi: just installed an HKS Legamax last weekend and to me, it's perfect, especially if you're looking for a quiet exhaust option. Much deeper tone than stock, but only slightly louder at normal cruising speeds with the windows up. With the windows down, it's louder to the point where it drowns out the usual transmission and diff noise and just barely overcomes the engine noise- moreover, it allows you to still hear other parts of the car without the exhaust noise being overbearing. To my ears, the tone sounds like a quieter Cobb catback and best of all, it gives the occasional pop on a hard 1-2 shift and burbles when down shifting. The only negative is the 'slight' drone at 3k rpm on the highway, but compared to other options, it's definitely not bad and can be drowned out with music.
