My Goodyear F1 GS D3 seem to be nicely progressive and give you lots of warning that traction is "going awaaAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I'm actually finding my 215/45/17 stock RE92s aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be (but still not great). EDITED

Or maybe you guys can suggest tires with more progressive breakaway.

Try a set of FUZION ZRi's! These tires are made for drifting and very fun to play with. (Cheep too!) With my limited driving skills they are a blast. They run a little narrow/small for there size. Oh, Made by Bridgestone too.
If you Auto-X, I would keep looking. Not bad, but not the best. For the $ an A+ in my book.
