just throwing this out there. i have a 2019 and its got all the engine goodies from the RA and a revised stock calibration. in sport or sport # theres more than enough power for the street. if it aint broke... and then your warranty why void your powertrain warranty? its not worth the hastle trust me i did the stage one ots bit in my 2015 wrx and my 2018 wrx yeah there are gains and in that car it was necessary because the stock throttle mapping was so garbage that it was hard to drive the car smoothly at any time. the sti trans, motor, diffs...etc are so much better that in my opinion theres no need to alter them. i mean until i stack up all the parts and money for a tune.

what id do is accumulate stage 2 parts, injectors, turbo, headers...etc put it all on at once and tune it once and be done.
