No, most manufacturers will tell you to take it easy for the first few hundred miles on most clutches.

A warped one maybe. How it was treated before it was resurfaced has a bigger impact. If it was thrashed pretty hard it could have some hard spots in it that wonít machine out with a re-surface job. I opted to replace mine when I did my clutch since Iím the 5th owner of my car and there is no telling how it was treated for the 13 years prior.
