Everybody has their own opinion about things and better spec numbers don't necessarily mean a system is going to sound better than another one does. You may not like the same thing another one loves. It all comes down to your own personal opinion when making an actual listening comparison between the two.

"In my opinion", the best way to make a noticeable improvement over just about any stock auto sound system is to just replace the speakers or add a sub-woofer. I appreciate a good sounding system but it amazes me at times what lengths and the amount of money some people spend on a car audio system. But, that's just my own personal opinion.
