I would not say there is much more HP to be had up top. Keep in mind, we can only achieve power up to MBT with timing(which we are very close). The turbo is a limiting factor here...need a bigger one to really make some noise. The AFR will yield a bit more power up top though.
I agree, we can get a bit more Torque if he want to really stretch out the stock turbo. He will need an aftermarket MAP sensor to keep the boost in check. We could try and shoot for 3 more PSI, but we will still see a good taper...no fighting physics there
It really comes down to the owner. If he wants to max it out, I am all for it. I am 90% sure he wants a reliable DD in the 20PSI range for longevity reasons. Eithert way, we will support his set up 100%.
