i was also curious where are you going to get that little red piece averyone gets in the brace package. it sits right up against the m/c and the long screw.
it just always seems to be red.

I would assume that red screw seat you are talking about would be manufactured for their specific application. They all look to be turned out of aluminum and anodized red. Personally I don't think it is a necessity unless your screw is not perpendicular to the brake cylinders surface, in which case it will be a lot of pressure on an extremely small surface area.
Will you be doing up the design for them, or will the shop be measuring it up?
