Aston Martin considering DBX Coupe and seven-seater?

The Aston Martin DBX is yet to hit the showrooms, however the British firm is already considering expanding its crossover lineup with two additional DBX variants – a four-door “coupe” and a seven-seater, according to a new report.

Speaking with GoAuto, Aston Martin Lagonda executive vice president and CEO, Marek Reichman, hinted at more DBX body styles in the near future.

If the DBX four-door coupe were to come to fruition, it would compete with the Porsche Cayenne Coupe, BMW X6, and Lamborghini Urus. The larger seven-seater would go up against the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS. Based on sales in both of these segments, Aston’s newest entrants could help balance the books for the struggling firm.
