No one here can answer that, only thing I can tell you is if the maintenance record checks out then they should cover it. The only true way to find out is to try, explain the situation to SOA if they baulk.
How many subies have you had problems with, you seem so willing to jump over to a less reliable car, I'd like to know more. I have 2 subies, one with 182k and a WRX with 52k, and I have not had a SINGLE issue.
