For some of the lucky one that doesn't bought an impreza with a 2 stroke oil burning type engine your are not obliged to put some more oil in the fire

By the way there is probably environnemental standards that new cars engine needs to meet. That's what I'm actually trying to find to over helm the Subaru industry standard oil consumption (L per 2000km) statement they are using.
