Default 2016 WRX FMIC vs TMIC

Hey guys and gals, wanted to chime in an ask a question if you can help add some insight. I have a 2016 WRX with the FA. my current set up is tuned at 358 WHP on 93 pump gas using a TMIC from mishimoto. I just put on a PRL motorsports front mount, and its seems like the car is just lagging. so much that I thought i had a boost leak, but i'm pretty sure its just the new FMIC. So, my thoughts:

Is my example really just the cold hard facts that the stock turbo is too small for a big FMIC like this and the lag is real? Or will a retune fix this? I'm considering selling it now even after only 500 miles because i liked the throttle response better before. Or, will a retune fix it and i can finally be happy with me car? (lol yea right). I'm currently running the tune that was made on a TMIC for this FMIC.

Secondly, I'm noticing that my engine temps are almost 20 degrees higher now! This is likely due to the FMIC blocking the radiator, any advice on what I can do about this? Thanks for your help guys.

My tuner said they do not see boost response issues on the FA20 at all, but i'm not sure i believe him. The EJ motors did have boost response issues he says, but not the new FA20 motors. Thoughts?
