Wouldn't it be easier to just transplant a whole WRX front clip?

No reason to buy a brand new one... and I doubt it would be much more complex than adding a turbo kit to a 2.5. Once the dead engine is out, you can fit nearly anything back in there

Plus, a WRX set up would be factory-reliable an emissions legal, if that is an issue where you are.
