Lol, I find it hilarious that everyone thinks that a bearing that makes noise is normal.

I wish that was the case for mine. It started only in the mornings and then it did it all the time even after the car was warmed up and driven for a while.

I did plan to keep my car for much longer than 38K miles, so got it replaced under warranty. You are right about it coming back but so far itís only in the morning again so I get to look forward to the noise coming back full time to join the symphony of other noises. I guess the key to a great WRX experience is not to keep it too long or drive to too much lol.
