I have an '04 Baja Turbo with the 'upgraded' factory stereo (in dash 6 disc changer plus the tweeters). When I fade to the rear speakers there is a clear and noticable DECREASE in low end response, greater than would be expected from just a 'weaker' speaker unable to produce lower end bass.
I am wondering if the head unit is designed with a low-pass filter eliminating low frequencies to the rear speakers, or is there a capacitor in-line somewhere? Both of these ideas seem very unusual to me in a factory stereo setup, but the fact remains, my rear speakers play essentially no low frequencies.
Thanks in advance for your help and thoughts!!
