It's hard to beat the simplicity of a large vent to atmos.

Unless the can/separator is exceptionally good ( and almost none are ) routing the vent anywhere on the intake path, will allow oil or dirty oil vapours into the inlet path.

And if you are wanting to connect it to the actual intake where it will see vacuum....then it 100% must have a proper working PCV system in place so boost can never blow into the crankcase...and when on boost it must have a good clear method of venting.
