got the harness in, got the motor in.

i had to buy quite a few parts that was missing from the motor i picked up.
-turbo inlet
-stock air box
-boost control solenoid

got it together, got it started. instantly started seeing white smoke. not a lot but enough to make me concerned
tested the coolant to see if it was head gaskets. I asked the girl i got the motor from about the headgaskets and according to her they were never done
i did not believe her since there was about 200k miles on the engine.
Took it out and started tearing it apart.

upon taking it apart one of the bolts that holds the cams in decided to break.
LUCKILY there was enough threads sticking out that i could grab it and get it out without damaging the hole/threads
took off heads and stuff to inspect
surprised to see a killer b pickup and baffle

did the headgasket job myself, all new timing belt components/water pump/etc.
got it together started it up to find out it was still smoking.
a buddy suggested the turbo, sure enough i swapped it and bam no more smoke...
a kid sold me a bad turbo claiming it was good

vf48 out of a 2015 sti with about 30k miles
GR top mount

got them in and it was running good... for now
