Kind of surprised how far you are straying from OEM+ now though.
UGH! I know. Trust me, I do everything I can to stay as OEM as possible. But, sometimes it just doesn't make sense. When stock S209 owners are reporting 100% duty cycles it starts to make me think. Do I really want to lean out an engine because I wanted that OEM+ goodness?

I personally called 3 different companies who contributed to the Cosworth CS400 STi to find out if the downpipe would work on my car. I am dedicated as hell, but when it comes to sacrificing reliability I think twice.

In fairness, the S209 uses HKS components anyway. The HKS 650cc fueling kit is almost $800. 1050X injectors, pig tails, and fuel pump is $550. If the S209 injector was closer to an 800cc injector I would pull the trigger.

Don't worry. I got quite a few more JDM irons in the fire, and parts on their way. S206 Lower Front Arm Bar, JDM STi Performance Stainless Brake Lines, S209/STi Performance Brake Pads, and am looking into what I need to do to make the R205 rear 4 pot brakes fit the VA chassi as well as the Spec C 1 piece intake manifold.
