I needed one final piece to my intake system before the car gets tuned next week. That was the JDM STi Reinforced Throttle Body Coupler.

There are 2 versions of this coupler. A GC8 version that measures 52m, and a GDB version that measures 46mm. From my research the 52mm is what you would need for an 08+ STi. I will confirm once I get everything back together.

The GDB version is a bit more common. The S202/3/4 and RA-R from my research came with the reinforced throttle bay coupler, but was part number ST2183066000. Its a 46mm in length. The GC8 part number is ST2183055000 and is 52mm. I was told by someone who used the GD version on an 08+ that it was a tad to short, and they recommended the GC* version.

Overall, I think it completes the entire OEM intake system nicely. My next round of power upgrades will be the v9 Spec C Long Runner Intake Manifold with the larger BRZ/GT86 throttle body, and a parallel fuel system.

But for now the car gets tuned next week. I have ID1050x, an AEM fuel pump, and the GD STi FPR to fix the stumble at 2700rpm. I am content with the fuel system being one of the only systems not OEM+
