for the interior I just use a damp rag and wipe everything down good. I use the same solution for washing the windows as I do on the interior. I havent had any problems with my plastic or leather...

What I found helps protect interiors against heat the best is tint. Something even light like 35% reduces heat inside the car a ton and blocks most UV rays. You dont need to go super dark either to get good protection.

I agree though something like aerospace or other waterbased stuff does fine. I have no brand preference. I hate armor-all though...makes the car look greasy..
