A picture is worth a thousand words. On another note, my finger points to the gasket between your MAF sensor and the air filter itself. For some reason, I think either that connection or the connection of your intake piping to your throttle body isn't sealed properly. Are your vacuum lines tightened enough?

I'm a novice here so maybe some of the old schooler owners can help.
