1. Intake silencer removal
2. kartboy short shifter with bushings
3. rear sway bar
4. bigger wheels and tires, not rotas
5. anything else.

IMO the above path gets you a really fun car and you dont spend that much, specially if you look for deals on sweet REAL used wheels that are cheaper than rotas.

Actually I wouldn't go that route (not to say its a bad route )

1) I did the intake silencer removal mod - did nothing except added an annoying whooshing sound whenever I accelerated, so I put the intake silencer back in.

2) I had the Kartboy in my car for about 2 months. Shifts were much quicker, but also required more effort. I went back to stock and have been very happy with the stock throw length.

3) Rear sway bars are one of the best handling improvements for our cars, because they decrease understeer (which increases oversteer at the limit), but this setup is much harder to control for a newbie driver if the tires break traction.

4) Bigger wheels and tires generally (not always) mean more unsprung weight, which slows the car down and decreases braking performance. You may gain grip from a wider tire and while you're upgrading, get better tires than the stock RE92's... and what's wrong with Rota's?
