BUT it has a BB center housing so the transient response, which is whats really important when actually driving not just doing dyno pulls will be much better. I keep trying to find real good graphs of the stock location GT28RS or 16g XTR on 2.5, and they dont exist. Some of us with 2.5s dont want to buy someone's crummy used turbo, and also think that journal bearing turbos belong in the 90s and would be perfectly satisfied with making over 300hp with BB turbo transient response and good low end.

If I wasn't trying to hold myself to no fab work on the daily I would just be making my own UP and DP to run an EFR6758.
