No such thing as voiding a warranty for an entire car due to a single mod. Most they can do is deny a claim where the mod directly impacts the part broken.

First hand experience: My gf's sister owns a 2008 wrx, she put a BOV on the car (did not modify boost at all). The car spun a bearing like they all did, they warrantied the engine like they had to, regardless of the mod, because it had no effect on things like the lubrication system or power levels.
