That is an interesting setup. If there is no real need or little benefit from keeping the crankcase under vacuum then this would be an ideal, maintenance free solution that keeps oil and fuel vapor out of your oil and intake air stream.

That's pretty much it. Very simple. Some will argue that you need that vacuum but some don't think it is necessary. Seems to be working fine as is.
