2017 Impreza Sport

I was considering doing the very same thing... But in all honesty, I think it's getting a little late for that now. Those cars are getting older, where the lowest mileage I find is around 60-70K miles. And then trying to find one that is actually stock will whittle that down further.

On top of this, the used car market is shot right now, and I know my 2017 Impreza is worth about 3-4K less than what I could get for it before the pandemic. So unless you've paid off your car completely and are buying from a private party, the above conditions will only get worse the more you wait for the market to improve.

Personally, I've moved on. I don't think Subaru will come out with another wrx hatch, and if they do, there won't be any guarantee it'll be as good/tasteful as the older models. Now you might be able to convince me on the Hyundai cars, but I don't know if I'll want to give up my AWD any time soon, so for now I will be content with my 2017 Impreza Sport.
