this could also be a factor: the day after i got the car i plugged a phone charger into the 12v outlet and there was a loud pop. the fuse is fine but the outlet doesnt work anymore. I tested the connection with a multimeter and the purple positive wire is now a ground haha. havent had a chance to dig into that problem.
The owner's manual tells you about programming the key itself, not the FOB.
