As long as the offset near correct. You use relatively narrow tires in the winter, so you do gain a lot of wiggle room between the fender and strut body. This does give you a bit more freedom with wheel choice. It's still preferable to be correct with the offset as it can introduce bumpsteer when not centered to the turning axis.
